Tom McNamara (1912) – Apawamis

Tom McNamara from Boston played his final two rounds in 73-71, coming home in 34 strokes to win the Championship by four-strokes over Gil Nicholls.  Frank Peebles, the Stockbridge, Massachusetts, professional, set a new competitive course record 69 at Apawamis, his round including a pair of birdie 2’s.
