Ron Letellier (1971) – Fresh Meadow

After seeing his six-hole lead vanish during the second round, Ron Letellier sank an 18-foot birdie putt on the final hole to beat Jimmy Wright by one stroke.  Letellier holed birdie putts of 60, 60, and 40 feet in a morning round 69, reclaiming the lead and holding off a challenge from Jimmy Wright, who took the lead at the 13th hole.
