Mike Diffley (1991) – Hollywood

Mike Difley achieved the first major victory of his professional career, and became the first lefthander to win the Met Open.   After bogeying the sixteenth hole, he appeared on the verge of losing again, but a gutsy par putt on the 17th and a birdie on 18 gave him a three-stroke victory.  His final round 72 gave him an aggregate 205, eight under par.
