About Henry Picard (1935) – Lakeville

Henry Picard, a tall, Massachusetts-born professional at Hershey, entered the last round with a four-stroke lead, but gave most of it back on the second hole when his recovery from the side of a bunker sailed over the green, through the tree branches, and down a concrete road, stopping alongside a gutter. He rallied on the back nine and restored his lead.  South African Sid Brews rallied with a 33 on the back nine to finish second.
