George Bullock (1980) – Woodmere

George Bullock came back to win a playoff on the fifth extra hole, defeating Dick Siderowf, one of the nation’s top amateurs.  Bullock was an assistant at Century where Siderowf, twice a British Amateur winner, was a member.  Siderowf lost his opportunity to win when he missed a two-foot putt for par on the 18th green.  Bullock squandered a four-stroke lead with a third-round 74.
