Darrell Kestner (1983) – Old Westbury

The storyline in 1983 was very similar to 1982, with Darrell Kestner shooting a final round 73 to win the championship by three strokes.  Kestner became only the fifth player to win the championship in back-to-back years, and was sponsored by the members of the Century Country Club to play on the PGA Tour.
