Claude Harmon (1951) – Forest Hill

Masters champion Claude Harmon shot rounds of 67-69-69-70, overcoming a two-stroke deficit in the final round to edge Pete Cooper by two strokes.  Cooper suffered two double bogie 6’s on the incoming nine to squander his lead.  Clarence Doser tied for third despite being hit on the leg by an errant tee shot during the second round.
