About Bob MacDonald (1921) – Siwanoy

Bob MacDonald, a burly Scot from the Bob O’Link Club near Chicago, played steady golf over the last 36 holes and won the Met Open by four-strokes.  Cyril Walker of Englewood held a three-stroke lead after 36 holes, and might have won the Championship had he not taken four whacks to get out of footprint in a bunker behind the 13th green.
