Art Doering (1955) – Fenway

Art Doering birdied the final two holes to tie Al Brosch after 72 holes, then held off Brosch’s charge in the playoff five days later.  Trailing by five strokes in the playoff, Brosch holed a 5-iron for an eagle 2, but a birdie on the 18th hole left him one stroke short.
