Mark Brown (1999) – Tuxedo

Neither a six-stroke deficit nor heavy morning rains could stop Mark Brown, who shot a course record 65 at the Tuxedo Club to win the Met Open.  The rain delayed the final round by two hours, and made the greens more receptive, and Brown was on target all day, carding eight birdies in his round.  Defending champion Rick Hartmann lost his chance when he triple-bogeyed the par-3 17th hole.
