About Rick Hartmann (2004) – Hudson National

With a second-round 67, Rick Hartmann put himself in the lead after 36 holes in the Met Open, a position he had achieved three times previously.  He appeared heading for victory after 10 holes, but then had to overcome a furious charge by Brian Lamberti, who shot a course-record 64 (including a back-nine 29).  Hartmann bogied three holes on the back nine, then secured a one-stroke victory with clutch bunker shots on the final two holes.
