About Mark Brown (2013) – Old Westbury

14 years after winning his first Met Open, Mark Brown came to the 54th hole with a one-stroke lead over amateur Cameron Wilson, a senior at Stanford and a former Met Amateur and MGA Ike Champion.  Brown overshot the green and bogied, while Wilson came up short in a deep front bunker, but recovered close to the pin.  In the three-hole aggregate playoff Brown won with a par and two birdies.  MGA Player of the Year Mike Miller shot a final round 67 in his pro debut to finish third.
